Bishopdown Surgery Petition

Liberal Democrat campaigners Cllr Nick Baker and Kevin Flynn are calling on Salisbury Medical Practice to re-open Bishopdown Farm Surgery which has been closed since the start of the pandemic. Kevin says;

"As a local resident I know how important this surgery is to the local community, especially parents of young children and older residents who may be dependent on public transport to access the Fountain Way site in the other side of Salisbury." 

Nick Baker says, "As a local councillor I have raised the issue several times with the practice and was told in March that the surgery would be reopening in the spring. Now I understand that works have not yet taken place and the practice were unable to provide an opening date. While we understand that building works can take time, good communication with local residents and an assurance that the project is under way give residents much needed reassurance that this important facility has not been forgotten."

Nick and Kevin are encouraging local residents to sign the petition to show their support for the speedy re-opening of the practice.
