Jill Caudle

Jill Caudle is your Liberal Democrat candidate for the "Nadder Valley" ward, which includes East Knoyle, Semley, Chicklade, Hindon, Fonthill Bishop, Chilmark, Teffont, Dinton, Wylye and the Langfords.

Jill has 16 years’ experience as a District and Parish Councillor. She was the District Council’s Lib Dem spokesperson on Planning Policy for many years, and on her Parish Council she took particular responsibility for finance.

Since moving to East Knoyle in 2016 she has become fully involved in the local community, including as Secretary to both the Village Hall Committee and the PCC of the village church. 

Jill works from home as a part-time P.A./bookkeeper, and classical music administrator. In her spare time she enjoys long walks in our lovely countryside, and she sings in the choir of Sherborne Abbey and has sung with Opera at Chilmark and other local groups. 

Local election issues tend to centre on “planning and potholes” but, as a member of the Green Liberal Democrats, Jill is particularly keen on our policies to proactively promote biodiversity on all Council land, tackle the climate emergency and protect wildlife.
