I believe the electors of Downton and Ebble Valley deserve a viable choice, when it comes to who will represent them in Trowbridge and I am standing in this election to provide that. Someone said to me, only recently, the Tories on the Council seem to have a sense of entitlement, when it comes to being in charge, and complacency is never a good place to start, when dealing with matters that affect the everyday lives of the people of Wiltshire.

My wife, Dr. Jan and I moved to the area seven years ago. I am an experienced former Councillor on East Hertfordshire District Council and I have enjoyed a lifetime of public service to people in my role as a lawyer. This has allowed me contact with all sorts of people, from all walks of life, and anyone who has had dealings with me will tell you I am friendly and approachable, while always on the lookout for the humour in any given situation.
