Robin Jackson for St Francis & Stratford
I think Salisbury is one of the best places to live in the country. There is always room for improvement however, and I’ve been inspired by what Liberal Democrat councillors have managed to achieve on Salisbury City Council.
For example, the Experience Salisbury website, electric street sweepers and improvements to public parks.
I am a huge believer in communication and would seek to keep you informed of council business in ways that compliment the busy lives of local residents.
Following the resignation of a Tory councillor, I am running for election in Salisbury St Francis and Stratford.
I have spoken to many residents over the last few weeks and reported lots of issues your Conservative councillor should have dealt with.
I believe you deserve a committed, local campaigner who will work hard on your behalf.
Robin has had a number of complaints from residents living along Stratford Road. Lots of cars along this road have had bodywork and wing mirrors damaged from passing motorists.
It’s time to extend the 20 mph limit along its entire length – not just near the school during pick-up and drop-off.
ACTION FOR OUR COMMUNITY
Robin Jackson has signed the “Re-Open Salisbury City Hall NOW!” Petition.
Conservative Wiltshire Council have left it derelict for years – despite protests from the Lib Dem FOCUS Team.
They have only just got round to appointing estate agents to market the property to potential leisure operators.
Robin said: “The Conservative council is slower than a snail at re-opening the City Hall. How long does it take to appoint an estate agent to market your house? We need real action to get City Hall reopened!”
