Victoria Charleston on Sue Gray's Report

So many people have shared with me how they could not see family members to celebrate birthdays, commiserate job losses, or mourn deaths together.  So many of us have lost loved ones, could not visit families in care homes, watched funerals held on Zoom. This report cements the Prime Minister's shameful flouting of the rules as so many others suffered.

My position has not changed. The Prime Minister has betrayed the country and laughed in our faces as we followed lockdown rules he set. Sue Gray’s report does not tell us anything new. We knew Boris Johnson lied, we knew Boris Johnson hosted parties. The party is well and truly over and the Prime Minister must go.

It’s time Conservative MPs did their patriotic duty, listened to their constituents and sacked Boris Johnson before he does our country any more harm.
