Roxy Eastland

I have lived in Middle Winterslow for coming on ten years, and I am passionate about the beauty of the area, the potential all around, and importance of the community.

I joined the Liberal Democrats because I realised I needed to stop shouting at the radio and get involved myself if I wanted to see changes.

I have worked in hospitality, retail, entertainment, as a primary school teacher, as a nutritional therapist, and in the care industry, giving a rounded experience of the how the world comes together and how issues interlink. I have also volunteered as a trained Listener for Samaritans, which gave me irreplaceable insight into the struggles of ordinary people.

My underlying drive is to see improvements in the lives of local people in the ways that they know they need.
